A spellbinding and transportive reimagining of works from across Tether, Surface Tension, and Revival. Annahstasia’s ensemble summoned orchestral grandeur from impressionistic arrangements, conducted by her exquisite voice, one of the most soulful and expressive of our generation. The body of music felt at once from another time and timeless. Her expansive vocal spans breathy whisper to heartbreaking wail, confronting the audience with a waterfall of emotions––mournful, yearning, considerate, scornful, demanding, empathic, full of love. At times we were witness to a channel, at others led into her world, as through two goosebump-inducing chants. On Believer we repeated her refrain, ‘cause I get lonely, you get lonely too, ‘cause I get lonely, can I be lonely here with you?’, until it was impossible to feel alone. The concert was recorded at Glasshaus in Brooklyn, New York on September 20, 2025 for a studio audience of 100 guests.

Zé Ibarra:

Live at Glasshaus

Latin Grammy winners Zé Ibarra, Dora Morelenbaum, and Julia Mestre perform works from their acclaimed supergroup, Bala Desejo, as well as covers from Brazilian legends like Caetano Veloso. Photography by Nicole Mago and Nick Karp. Japanese reissue pressed on black vinyl.
Liner Notes

Zé Ibarra – Vocals, Guitar, Piano
Dora Morelenbaum – Vocals, Guitar
Julia Mestre – Vocals

Two days after winning their first Latin Grammy in November 2022, Zé Ibarra, Dora Morelenbaum, and Julia Mestre of Bala Desejo graced us with a performance that left many wondering why we don't relocate to Rio de Janeiro. The trio sang effortlessly, each voice as beautiful as the next, harmonizing together as much in spirit as in tone. Though they missed Lucas Nunes, their partner in Bala Desejo, it was fitting that he was performing in Brazil with none other than legend Caetano Veloso that very night. For those of us in Brooklyn, we felt like we were witnessing heirs to Veloso’s legacy. We’re proud to present the recording of this very special acoustic performance, a collection of 9 songs that includes re-imaginations from Sim Sim Sim, Bala Desejo’s debut album, as well as covers from Brazilian icons Chico Buarque, Dorival Caymmi, and Caetano Veloso.
